This 6.2x54 stick features a firm densely packed dark chocolate wrapper with an oily toothy feel, small veins, tight invisible seams, double cap and pungent nutty manure aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with plumes of medium-full bodied smoke dominated by a spicy pepper blast with a hint of sweetness on the finish. The first third quickly brings down the pepper and adds a sweet cream, yeasty bread and light earth all going long on the finish where a cayenne spice picks up. The 1/2 way point comes at 35 minutes dropping a solid chunk of ash with an excellent burn. Flavors only change subtly adding a touch of cinnamon to the draw joining the sweet bread with the pepper continuing to diminish. Ending at 1:15 the last third shifts to heavier notes of earth, dark roast coffee with a big strength kick. The finish is now quite smooth dropping the pepper almost entirely.
