Removal of Thomas Jefferson Statue Continues the "Slippery Slope"

Confederate statues, such as those of Robert E Lee, have come under fire, which inevitably led to the removal of other white male statues - no matter how critical they were to the birth of America. The vote held for removing Thomas Jefferson statue from a city hall in New York was unanimous, once again showing that this issue was not a slippery slope. Conservative commentators have expressed their continued objection to no end in sight.
