My dog is afraid of my RC πŸ˜…is it alien πŸ‘½

Hii friends,,chai pee lo πŸ˜„

I’m concerned that you are terrorizing her by insisting that you can β€œmake her” adjust to it.

Some dogs do not like things that move that aren’t alive. Some dogs destroy anything that moves. To some extent, you are lucky. My dogs would have killed your tank by now.

I suspect that you may have already ruined your chances with this dog; once a dog’s mind has closed, it tends to stay closed. You could possibly try some serious food treat reinforcement when she is in the same room with the tank, increasing the rewards as she learns to tolerate it and then accept it in motion. But you have to move slowly, at her speed, and the phrase β€œmake her adjust to it” really gives me pause.

We have been working with a terrorized dog for nearly two years. She can now be in the same room as people. She is afraid when touched, but at least now she’s not pooping every time we’re close. Two years, including regular feeding with bacon-grease-covered dog food.
Considering that these remote controlled vehicles seem to be very important to you, I would strongly recommend that you re-home your dog because she's miserable, and you're unhappy.

The situation is not going to improve until you remove her from the things she fears. Please consider finding her a new home. You can take her to a local shelter or contact the shelter and ask about local rescue groups.

It's not fair to make your dog suffer.
If you want her to be happy, you could put the tank away and play with her in the backyard with things that she does like. Like a ball, or a frisbee.

There is nothing in dog philosophy that says she has to like inanimate objects that inexplicably (to her) move on their own, whether or not they’re covered in bacon grease.

Choose your battles. It looks like you’ve lost this one.πŸ€—πŸ€—
