My Father La Gran Oferta Toro Cigar Review - This 6x50 stick features a firmly packed, oily dark chocolate wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap, turquoise foot band and very prominent sweet cocoa aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with huge plumes of thick medium-full smoke showing notes of a very dry slightly bitter earth followed by a blast of black table pepper and slight spice growing through the finish. The first third burns very well with best results from a quick double puff on the draw. Flavors go to a still big pepper and spice but adds in a lighter milk chocolate followed by a slightly smoother pepper and spice combo. The 1/2 way point comes at 40 minutes bringing the body down to medium, with the flavors melding together evenly and the finish spice almost gone. By the end at the hour mark there is a big strength rush, passing the body to medium-full carrying the same profile.
