Are you a pretender or a proclaimer? Do you live on borrowed faith, or are you a giver of the Gospel? Pastor/Professor Andrew Marquez looks at Daniel 5:13-22. These verses show the confrontation of Daniel and Belshazzar. The king recognizes Daniel and restates the problem of the writing on the wall. He proposes rewards if Daniel will interpret the meaning. Daniel rejects Belshazzar's offer but agrees to reveal the message. First, Daniel will remind the king of his forefather Nebuchadnezzar. This greater ruler ultimately was broken by God and humbled himself before the Most High. Belshazzar has not followed the example of Nebuchadnezzar.
