Britney Spears CRYING all days as she celebrates end of conservatorship & first day
Britney Spears is "crying for the rest of the day" as she celebrates the end of her "abusive" conservatorship,
The 39-year-old said it's "the first day of a new life."
Britney Spears is finally free of her controversial conservatorship and her fans are celebrating the star's big moment.
At a hearing in a downtown Los Angeles courtroom on Friday, a judge decided to terminate the conservatorship that has exercised vast control over the Britney Spears’ life and money for nearly 14 years.
Shortly after Britney's conservatorship was terminated on Friday, her lawyer Mathew Rosengart exclusively told “If Britney wants, we will absolutely continue pursuing active investigations into certain claims against Mr. Spears.
"It’s telling he still will not back down. I look forward to Mr. Spears’ deposition and pursuing that further."
He continued: "Britney absolutely knows that without her fans, this day would not be here.
"Britney’s impact has showcased all around the world and because of her, people in conservatorships from New York to California who are abused by conservators like Jamie Spears will have a spotlight shined down on them.
"She credits her fans for her freedom and is eternally grateful."
The lawyer concluded: "Today was an emotional day that was a long time coming and with all due respect, if you would excuse me I now have a very important and exciting phone call to make to my client.”
Shortly after news broke that the conservatorship had been terminated, Britney took to Twitter to share a video of fans celebrating outside of the courthouse.
She captioned the post: "Good God I love my fans so much it’s crazy!!!
"I think I’m gonna cry the rest of the day !!!!
"Best day ever … praise the Lord … can I get an Amen????
Britney's conservatorship officially ended after 13 years without requiring any further mental evaluation as Judge Brenda Penny ruled in favor of the pop star.
On Friday, Judge Penny ruled that Britney's conservatorship be terminated, giving the hitmaker control of her life for the first time since before 2008.
In September, Britney's case returned to a Los Angeles courtroom where Judge Penny made a number of bombshell rulings, following her father Jamie's decision to step down from the conservatorship the month prior.
She ruled to suspend Jamie from the conservatorship, however, it did not mean the end of the conservatorship altogether.
Speaking in court, Judge Brenda Penny said at the time: "Based on what I read in the filings, and I read everything. I do believe the suspension of Jamie Spears is in the best interest of Britney Spears.
"The current situation is unattainable. The court finds the toxic environment Jamie Spears has
