Of Plymouth Plantation - Chapter 1 - Book 1

"Of Plymouth Plantation" traces the history of the New Plymouth Settlement from its inception on British soil in 1608, to its sojourn in the Netherlands, and eventually to its establishment on American shores. Bradford's forty-two year historical account depicts the hand of God establishing a mighty work in America amidst every conceivable, as well as inconceivable, hardship.

My project of reading and recording this work includes the first 12 chapters. Book 1 contains Chapters 1 thru 10. I have read and recorded Chapters 1 and 3 of Book 2, as it leads up to and contains writings about the first harvest, which in our time is referenced as the very first Thanksgiving.
