Border Crisis: Lithuania Declares FIRST EVER State of Emergency!

For months Lukashenko has flooded the European Union with migrants as part of his hybrid campaign. Thousands of irregular arrivals from the Middle East have poured into Lithuania and Poland in recently months, manifold more than at any time in history.

It appears Lukashenko has found an ally in President Erdogan of Turkey, who is accused of ferrying large numbers from Istanbul to Minsk. Meanwhile Russia embarks on a major military build up in Yelnya near the Belarussian border.

In response, for the first time ever Lithuania has been forced to enter a state of emergency and employ extraordinary means to stem the flow into its territory and that of the European Union.
