HOW TO WOOD CHOP WITH A DUMBBELL

The wood chop is a complex and functional exercise that works every muscle in the body. The wood chop is defined as a core exercise, and because it is done with a dumbbell it is also a free weight movement.

To the do the woodchop
1) Grab the heads of the dumbbell
2)Assume a wide stance, start with weight on outside of knee.
3)Push with legs, Shift the weight, then rotate the torso
4)Allow the arms to express the movement like a the tail of a whip
5) Pull to navel, push away
