Thinking Thru Scripture Ep 4: Thinking About Rahab The Prostitute's Story of Leaning into Salvation

Rahab lives in a violent land. Her brothers and sisters are married with children. Most likely she was sold into prostitution and now supports her family. This is not an uncommon story. Rahab hears of a people that have been liberated from a power far greater than themselves. She is drawn to this story. Thus, instead of running from the soon-to-be-invading people, Rahab runs to toward them, asking that they connect her to the God of their salvation. And they do. Such that she is one of the precious and dignified associated with the Messiah - Jesus Our Lord and Savior.
