The attack of a jaguar on an alligator was recorded by a Mexican photographer during an expedition in the Pantanal of Mato Grosso, on August 19 of this year. See video above.

Diego Rodriguez said that, despite traveling the world recording wildlife, this was the first time he had managed to record an attack like this.

The video was shared on the photographer's social media profile a week ago and already has more than 25,000 views. In the images, it is possible to see the jaguar trying to take the alligator, still alive, to the forest. The alligator manages to escape at some point, but is caught by the cat again.
