Why Are People Hoarding Toilet Paper?
People are literally fighting over toilet roll! Why? Let’s find out…
On average each person in the United States uses 100 rolls of toilet paper a year, thats 1 roll every 3.65 days, there is around 329 million people living in the U.S right now which adds up to more than 3 billion rolls of toilet paper needed a year.
People don’t know when they’ll be allowed out again, if they’ll ever be allowed out again, people are worried the supply for toilet roll will run out or the price of toilet roll will sky rocket due to the demand of it right now.
I totally understand the anxiety in people right now, the uncertainty, the stress but people are panic buying and hoarding items out of fear but this causes problems!
Some people can’t buy what they need whilst others have a years worth of supplies, it’s not very fair is it?
We all have to be responsible, sensible and a lot less selfish during this difficult time for us all!
Please be responsible and think of others, everyone is affected by this.
What do you think of people hoarding items whilst others can’t get anything?
