Italian Port Authority coast guard crews have saved two men on board a catamaran after it capsised off the coast of Multedo, in the west of Genoa.

The two were on board the catamaran when overturned due to strong winds tipping them into the water.

That scuffled, due to the strong wind, causing them to fall into the water.

After locating the two sailors they pulled them onto their boat and then helped to write the catamaran which was then towed ashore.

The rest was carried out near the Multedo oil platform.
