Houseless Episode 8: Bear today...bear tomorrow?

I was at one of my favourite spots to park for awhile yesterday. Around 1:30pm I looked to the side through the driver's door window just as a small black bear was walking close by below. I couldn't get the GoPro out quickly enough to start shooting until it was where you first see it. I did not feed it or have ever left any garbage there but the bear was sniffing around and may have smelled the garbage bag I have in the back of the truck. This is a bad place for the bear to be since the 4 lane Trans Canada Highway isn't far away and while at work I was with a road crew that picked up a dead black bear off that highway about 5 kilometres farther north about 2 weeks ago. I've slept in my truck at this place a few times unaware that I was possibly not far from this bear. The last few moments show the rotating roof vent I had installed to limit or stop condensation in the back of my truck. It has been doing what it is supposed to do and is a Flettner 2000.
