Life Goes On -Official Music Video

This has been the toughest year of my life!
This song, Life Goes On.. was taken from a page of my Journal. I wrote while preparing myself to say farewell to my father before he passed away.…Not knowing that my nephew Nick, who was more like a son to me, would pass in his sleep just before my father died. Two funerals in one week for two people that were close to my heart.
My father made me promise him 2 things before he passed. One, to never forget that he loves me, and another request he wanted me to do in his words “jump out there”. He loved to hear and see all of the things I would create. He believed it was time to let others do the same.
Two days before my nephew passed, we had one of our “Uncle talks”. In our conversation, he out of nowhere thanked me for all that I’ve done for him. He kept telling me he loved me. I will never forget that conversation.
I promise you all, every song that I release from here on out will not have a tone of hurt and sorrow. Putting Life Goes On to music was part of my healing. Shooting footage for this was tough however, creating this helped me. I hope that hearing it helps someone else.
Y’all can have the competition. Not only is this movement me keeping a promise…I owe it to those of you who have supported me throughout the years. You may not like every song that I release, but know that I appreciate anyone that takes the time to push play! My team and I are working hard to bring my vision to life!
