Top 5 Absolute Best Fishing Spots in Red Dead Online

Fishing is a new mechanic in Red Dead Redemption 2. Much like hunting, it plays a prominent role in the game, where players can catch and hunt various species of fish for survival, sport and money. Fishing can be done manually or through the use of a fishing rod. When a fish is caught, the player may cook a fish (to restore health, stamina, or Dead Eye cores), donate it to the camp, or sell it for profit. There are 15 types of fish that can be caught in Red Dead Redemption 2, with each type having its own legendary version. These species of fish will differ in weight and size when caught or fished. Fish are commonly found in lakes, ponds, and rivers, but some are exclusive to one habitat or region.

The following species appear in Red Dead Redemption 2:
Bluegill; Legendary Bluegill; Bullhead Catfish; Legendary Bullhead Catfish; Chain Pickerel; Legendary Chain Pickerel; Channel Catfish; Legendary Channel Catfish; Lake Sturgeon; Legendary Lake Sturgeon; Largemouth Bass; Legendary Largemouth Bass; Longnose Gar; Legendary Longnose Gar; Muskie; Legendary Muskie; Northern Pike; Legendary Northern Pike; Perch; Legendary Perch; Redfin Pickerel; Legendary Redfin Pickerel; Rock Bass; Legendary Rock Bass; Smallmouth Bass; Legendary Smallmouth Bass; Sockeye Salmon; Legendary Sockeye Salmon; Steelhead Trout; Legendary Steelhead Trout

#RedDeadRedemption2 is a 2018 action-adventure game developed and published by #RockstarGames. The game is the third entry in the Red Dead series and is a prequel to the 2010 game Red Dead Redemption. The story is set in 1899 in a fictionalized representation of the Western, Midwestern, and Southern United States and follows outlaw Arthur Morgan, a member of the Van der Linde gang. Arthur must deal with the decline of the Wild West whilst attempting to survive against government forces, rival gangs, and other adversaries. The story also follows fellow gang member John Marston, the protagonist of Red Dead Redemption.

The game is presented through both first and third-person perspectives, and the player may freely roam in its interactive open world. Gameplay elements include shootouts, heists, hunting, horseback riding, interacting with non-player characters, and maintaining the character's honor rating through moral choices and deeds. A bounty system similar to the "wanted" system from the Grand Theft Auto franchise governs the response of law enforcement and bounty hunters to crimes committed by the player. #RedDeadOnline
