Let's go back 100 years and look at the statistics on the cheetah population in the wild. At the time of the 20th century, there were about 100,000 individuals, and now these guys are on the verge of extinction, there are no more than 4 thousand of them on the territory of the entire Black Continent. In addition to the disappearance of natural habitats, there are a number of reasons why the population has suffered directly from human hands - from religion to fashion. The most cruel and disgusting reason for the extermination of the fastest mammals in the world is the religious rites of South Africa. Thousands, or even tens of thousands of cheetahs have become victims of pagan ceremonies, the number of which is only growing and threatens the extinction of the surviving representatives of this family of cats. The skins are sewn into ritual attire, just like in the tribes of the Zulu peoples, where members of the royal family traditionally wear cheetah outfits.

The girl in the video is called Anna. She loves to travel and has already visited 44 countries. One of the most exciting moments of her travels was a visit to the Etosha National Park, where she was able to personally get acquainted with its wild inhabitants. In this video, Anna dared to stroke one of the most dangerous predators in the world. Cheetah didn't mind at all, back on September 19, 2019.
