US nurse sacked for defying COVID-jab mandate due to religious beliefs
US government pressure for people to get vaccinated, including through a federal mandate, is being met with resistance. Victoria Jensen, a California nurse, has been suspended by a private hospital after she refused to take a COVID shot due to her religious beliefs – despite Washington’s controversial workplace vaccine mandate providing for exemptions including medical conditions, pregnancy and, yes, religious beliefs.
