20211104 What You Transmit - The Daily Summation

I know you love your dog.

I get that the sandwich tasted okay.

Maybe that pie was really good.

All that having been said, I would bet the majority of folks DON'T CARE.

I remember when "snail mail," was ACTUALLY STUFF YOU WANTED--virtually none of it unsolicited.

Same for email.

The "new spam?"

That would be social media posts (not that the others have gone away, mind you.

The thing that amazes me about "social media spammers" is that the "return" is basically NIL.

Not only do THEY get little to nothing out of posting there, but the folks who have to wade through what they post generally don't either.

To make all of this worse, there are resources consumed by EACH TRANSMISSION.

It's not my "job" to manage what you post on social media (past ignoring or blocking it, or paying it mind).

I'm NOT trying to do that.

Rather, I'm asking you to REALLY THINK ABOUT what you're "transmitting" before posting your four hundredth dog picture for today.

This is what I discuss in today's edition of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics.

As usual, when I'm able to complete the companion article on the Kurt's Religion and Politics blog, I'll post a link to it here.
