Oakland County Sheriff Dept Violation of 1st Amendment Rights!
After going thru the correct channels with filling out a media request 3 days prior and personally speaking with the court administrator to allow us to film a court hearing, I was ultimately denied by the judge, to document (film) the court proceedings. I left the courtroom to document Mike Bambas and his encounter with Oakland County Sherriff Dept.
The captain confronts me to cause a public disturbance and then proceeds to violate my 1st amendment rights (Freedom of the press) and forces me to turn off my camera. If I refused to turn off my camera, she said she will charge me with civil misconduct. Under duress, I turn off my camera. 11/3/2021
