U.S. Marines with the Explosive Ordnance Disposal section for Task Force Koa Moana 21, I Marine Expeditionary Force, and members of the Palau National Safety Office work hand-in-hand to conduct a buried disposal in Melekeok, Republic of Palau, Oct. 11 - 20, 2021. 1'173 pieces of found unexploded ordnance were buried and disposed of during Palau's first buried disposal. Relationships are key components of the U.S. and goes beyond our nation's economic and military strength. One of the significant advantages these relationships provide is a common vision for a free and open Indo-Pacific. (U.S. Marine Corps motion imagery by Cpl. Atticus Martinez)
