Abandoned Newton T Bass Hilltop House Apple Valley California Hike and FPV Freestyle

The Wife and I Hike up to The Abandoned Newton T Bass Hilltop House in Apple Valley California and do some FPV Freestyle. My Son Justin Gatewood died in a motorcycle accident A few weeks ago and we have been running around and just sticking around the house stricken with grief. My wife wanted to write something for Justin but not in the house where we have been stuck for weeks. So we took a Hike up to Newton T Bass Hilltop House Apple Valley California. I grabbed my FPV Freestyle Drone because flying drones Helps me clear my head and I haven't seen anyone fly FPV freestyle at this Abandoned Hilltop House. It was a nice peaceful day for a Bando.

APPLE VALLEY ‒ Like an old lighthouse that once guided ships to shore, developer Newton T. Bass’ hilltop house once attracted thousands of potential homeowners to the growing town of Apple Valley in the ’50s and ’60s.
Bass’s mansion in the sky included 360-degree views, an outdoor/indoor pool and a collection of valuable antiques, such as a bed used in the movie “Gone With the Wind.”
Today, the 7,200-square-foot house that once hosted famous Hollywood celebrities such as Bob Hope and Dean Martin sits broken, vandalized and abandoned atop Miner’s Hill, near Highway 18.
As thousands of vehicles on Highway 18 drive by the old house, many residents have expressed their concern about the monument to the past.
