Alien Attempts to Traffic Drugs through the Greek Postal Service – Gets Caught

A 24-year-old alien was arrested around noontime on October 22, in Athens. The alien was caught trafficking narcotic substances into Greek territory with the intention of further distribution.
The 24-year-old attempted to bring the drugs into the country using postal system. The parcel was mailed from French Guiana to Greece.
The police press release states that the parcel contained a total of 415 gr of cocaine in three makeshift packages.
The arrest was made when the alien attempted to pick up the parcel and was later brought before the relevant public prosecutor in Athens. There is an ongoing investigation to identify and arrest possible accomplices.
