Dear friends welcome to our Tv show Shalom Israel, a show about the Culture, History, Life, and Religion of the Israel People.
Today we have the privilege to have as a guest Mr. Bret Ridley from Canberra, Australia.
Welcome to our TV show Mr. Ridley in Romania and in the Studio of Credo TV.
1. What is the purpose of your visit to Romania?
A. Participation at the Continental Prayer Forum.
2. I know that you are involved in the South Pacific Prayer Movement. What will be your contribution during the Continental Prayer Forum? What do you have to share with the Christian believers in our continent?
A. To share about the kingdom principle of protocol – to honor and respect that which our Father gave to all peoples across the world, cultural identity, and authority over the land in which they live.
Mr. Ridley in these days you have a special relationship with the people of Israel; back in Canberra. In order to understand how this relationship was established, please share with us some aspects of your spiritual journey.
A. As a young believer I came to the conclusion that if I am to live a life of faith, then I wanted it to consume my whole life and not just parts of it. So I have pursued a lifestyle of full-time ministry since then.
3. What were the main moments of your spiritual ministry?
A. An Operation Mobilisation outreach to Belgium in ’89, YWAM Olympics outreach in ’92 in Barcelona, working to mobilize the American church in prayer in the late ’90s, working in partnership with Indigenous peoples since 2000
4. How you connected with Israel. Who influenced you to find more about the chosen people of God?
A. The trip to Israel, details.
5. What you have learned about Israel during this first visit to the Holy Land?
A. An intimacy with the land and its relevance to His purposes and people.
6. When you have realized the special relationship between God of all Universe and Israel? What does this mean for you now?
A. Israel is the apple of His eye.
7. What happened after your return to Australia regarding your relationship with Israel People?
A. Member of the Jewish Community in Canberra.
8. What you are doing as a member of this Jewish Community?
A. Attend Shabbat and festival services, perform security duties, assist with festival preparations.
9. What You have learned about the Jewish people you are connected with?
A. There determination to remain to be a unique people who are called to be a blessing. They fast to whom God made them be regardless of their actual belief in who God says He is.
10. What you have learned from them?
A. As believers, how limited our perspective is of the scripture.
11. Do you try to influence them spiritually as Christian?
A. Not directly, but in faith, through my commitment to them in relationship
12. How long do you consider continuing this relationship with the Jewish people?
A. My attitude is that I am called to have a relationship with Jewish people just as much as I am with other believers in the Lord. While they may not have faith in Yeshua, they are the original custodians of the faith...
13. Is the context you leave now, how you interpret the word of God from Micah 5:1-3
Mic 5:1 Now gather thyself in troops, O daughter of troops: he hath laid siege against us: they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek.
Mic 5:2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
Mic 5:3 Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel.
