Letter To The Prodigal Son

Hello brothers and sister and Heartdwellers family. May you all be blessed, and may your arms be open to embrace all the outcasts the Lord is bringing home.

As I mentioned in the previous message, this is an introduction to the wonderful new brother we have now gained in our community. He is the first soul the Lord has permitted to ever stay with us here in the house. When one of the sisters brought him home to stay the night, he had dinner with us and shared his life story of having amazing success in the food industry by owning a restaurant and being known to be world-class chef in France and Italy. He then was a big Rave party promoter and found sudden success with a huge event he threw. However, he was busted for supplying drugs there.

His life even, at a young age, was filled with smoking pot and didn’t get into the hard stuff into later, but that opened the door, he said. Since then, he began to sell drugs and was a lead pusher here in this area with Methamphetamine. He has struggled throughout the years to get completely off and has done several treatments and has had long bouts of sobriety just to fall back into drug use again.

As he told us his life story, we were all fascinated and saw the fingerprints of God upon his life steering him away from the world and success. He grew up in a Christian home but had also opened himself up to consider other forms of spirituality. As I shared my testimony with him, I told him how I believed in God but had no faith in him for a long time. And believing and having faith are two different things. He then said that hit him like ton of brinks and decided he wanted to put his faith in God that night.

We were elated and then asked him to pull three Rhemas just to see what the Lord had for him before he left the following morning. The first Rhemas said, “For the Sovereign LORD, who brings back the outcasts of Israel, says: I will bring others, too, besides my people Israel.” Isaiah 58:6. Now that’s not the exact translation on my card because it referenced more to the rejected, outcasts and those in the world. As I googled this scripture on The Bible Hub it had the entire passage starting at verse 7, which wasn’t on my Rhemas card, but is so telling now. And the title is, Salvation for the Foreigners: “I will bring them to My holy mountain and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on My altar, for My house will be called a house of prayer for all the nations.” For the Sovereign LORD, who brings back the outcasts of Israel, says: “I will bring others, too, besides my people Israel.”

Wow Lord! If that is not telling right now, then I don’t know what is. Then the second Rhema said, “Do not be ashamed of your weakness in it lies your strength” – Jesus. And then the last card, which I don’t remember verbatim, was from Mother Teresa and it was about the protection of wearing a habit and what that means.

We all looked at each other thinking, whaaa...? Lord, no way. So of course, he said he resonated with the first two, and I said, well you never know maybe the Lord is calling you to this life. He shrugged it off as we all pondered, “Lord what are you up to?”.

After dinner we then all felt led to pray for him in tongues and he willingly accepted. As we prayed, I saw Blessed Mother hovering over him, and a small light came from heaven and entered inside of him. As I was praying in tongues, I just began to ask the Lord to please seal up what he received today so that nothing could be lost or stolen. Then he left the following morning.

I kept thinking about the Rhemas and prayed for him. Then two days later he reached to one of the sisters again as we invited him to stay again with us. He mentioned he had a vehicle that was not running that he gave to a friend and maybe if we could help him get it, so that he could have some where to stay for the winter. I told him I would pray about it and get back to him to see what the Lord said.

When I went to the Lord, he made it clear he wasn’t being fully honest. But most surprisingly, the Lord didn’t want us to help him in that way, but rather to give him an invitation to stay with us instead and be a part of this community.

So I began,

Lord, what is on your heart for this young man?

Jesus immediately began speaking,

“He is a soul chosen and handpicked by me and my Mother for she is the one who led him to this house—Her house of peace, healing, deliverance and of love—if he would but respond to this wonderful grace that has been given to him right now”

Jesus then began to address this young man,

“My beloved son, how I love you with words you cannot described. Before you were in your mother’s womb, I knew you. I knitted you together, every part of your being, and I knew your weaknesses far before you knew them, and I had already gone before to make provision for them, My beloved child. You have been running—running for a long time now—trying to find your purpose and identity in all many of pleasures and honors in this world. But even that was my mercy when I stripped you of these things. You have such a bright future ahead you, My beloved one. My ways always seem crooked but will lead you to the expect end.

“I have heard the cry of your heart in those late nights wondering, doubting in confusion, pondering truly if I was the only way, if I see you, and if I hear you. And I have seen, I have heard, and have answered you by bringing you to this place. Although it seems like luck and chance, you are meeting these sisters, it is not at all, but very intentional on My part. You have roamed around enough, My beloved son. And in this place is where you will find the freedom you’re looking for, the love that you have always desired, the peace that passes all understand, and most importantly, an intimate relationship with me—with God, your Savior, and your best friend.

“I am all those things to you and so much more. And I have a plan in mind that you cannot conceive. If you tried to do it on your own, you would mess it up as you usually do in all things because you rely too much on yourself and not on Me. It is the longing of your spirit that drew you here to cleanse you, heal you and teach you, My ways.

“You can go back and keep running, back to your lifestyle, back to your old friends, and even back to the relationship you are desperately clinging too. Although the young lady is a soul fashioned by Me, I have great love for her for she too is my child, but there is much disorder in her life. And as you align yourself with her, you will continue in disorder, Beloved Son. There is a love far better, far more fulfilling, and far purer, available for you and that is in Me. And in time I will reveal to you the one whom I have willed and chosen for you.

“Your addictions and struggles do not surprise me, My son. But don’t you see, I have used it all to bring you to this place. This is a divine appointment I have long been awaiting, to speak to you and share with you my love and my forgiveness. You need not run anymore, hide anymore, and continue in dishonesty anymore. All things are exposed before my mirror and in this place, they will continue to be for I have called you to a place of glory and honor with Me.

“I am calling back the outcast in this world and I am starting with you here right now. Can you not hear my voice tugging on your heart? Will you respond and trust me? All your needs will be taking care of and the plans I had for you before you were born will be birth and fulfilled to bring you much joy and great consolation than anything you have ever done or pursued in this world. This is a test to see what you will choose. I will never pressure you, but I am presenting this before you to consider.

“Stay here for a bit and glean and receive all that I desire to give you, fill you with, to transform you and strengthen you for all that I have in store for you.

“Things soon will become very difficult in your nation. This is not only a place of refuge, but a place to encounter Me, the lover of your soul”.

That was the end of Jesus message.

The Lord is full of surprises and so merciful!

So, I sat him down and told him what I discerned in prayer and how the Lord is leading us here in this house and how he will expose any dishonesty quickly so he would have to be open and transparent with us because either way Jesus would tell us.

I then shared with him what the Lord said, and he was floored as I told him there was no pressure to make a decision right away and if he wasn’t comfortable, he could freely leave at any time. But we just couldn’t help him to get this car. He then came back and hour later and said he would stay. Now that was amazing to me.

Since then, he has gone up the mountain with us and been a part of our community worship service. Even the Rhemas he pulled there confirmed he is called to this life of solitude and prayer and a prophetic ministry to hear God’s voice and share it with others. He has been a wonderful support and brother down here and we’re blessed to have him.

So please pray for our newest brother in the community for strength and great courage to be free from every addiction and bondage that holds him and for us to support him with much patience. We definite need it
