Matt MQ's band Pole Electric - Dealing Diamonds (the great awakening)

Matt MQ here with a musical special to drop instead of the usual podcast I do on average once a month about world solutions to our global situation and how we can manifest a brighter future collectively.

The timing for this upload for a wider audience is now. This song is about the great awakening and taking back our sovereignty as a human collective. A passion of mine is to see all of us awaken and regain freedom and collaborate on new horizons together as an abundant creative civilization.

Dealing Diamonds by Pole Electric

Pole Electric is a rock duo with Matt MQ on vocals and drums, and Jules Leuzzi on guitars. Both Matt & Jules co-write the music together.

Matt and Jules first played together in Sydney band "The Presence" from 2010-2013.

They played gigs all over Sydney and sold out the metro in Sydney in their prime. At the time the band was mentored by Harry Vanda (The Easy Beats/Albert Studios) producing their first album Enemy Lines.

Then, tragically in 2014 Matt suffered an aviation accident that changed his life forever. Matt lost his left leg and had his right foot fused with no movement.

At the time nobody thought Matt would survive, and even after proving against all odds, the Doctors predicted that Matt would never be able to play drums again, At that time Matt jokingly predicted “that doctors don’t know Matt MQ, and he knew he’d be back behind the drums again”.

After Jules visited Matt in hospital with his newborn twins (future rock gods), they discussed jamming again someday as their former band was sidelined for obvious reasons, both didn't realize how profound their first jam in 2018 would become.

By then Matt had a new dream beyond returning to drums. Matt declared “I will build a studio, I don’t know how, but I’ll get it done.

Miraculously, he stumbled across real estate in Sydney (seriously, can you believe that?!?!?!

It was at that time he decided to convert the space into a recording studio managing to capture INXS within the walls having the fortune of purchasing the acoustic panels and soundproof doors shifted from their Belrose studio to Pole Electric headquarters in Sydney inside the land of oz.

Fast-forward past the building process, Matt eagerly invited Jules down to check out the new studio and have a jam.

From that moment, Pole Electric was formed as well as a new timeline that's way more fun than the one we've been on!

That very first night, they both recorded "Gift From Hell" which was about the jab.

Their second song "Way Back Then" was about life pre covid when we could see live music & simpler times, that song was also written, recorded & released in 2019. (available on all streaming platforms)

It's the passionate spark that comes from tonnes of experience playing live, and their familiar vibe within the recording studio environment that led them to their first album launched merely 9 months later called "Luminescent".

To this day, Pole Electric has maintained their passion for music and are about to launch second album Consciousness in mid October 2020 which is all about humanity overcoming the will of dark forces to which their first album "Luminescent"was also referencing.

(update to the bio: We're dropping a new EP for free towards the end of the year. Lockdowns made it tough to write and record for a while there as Jules has a family and we had to be considerate to others and be good citizens albeit a frustrating delay).

While Matt MQ often gets timelines confused and writes songs about events that haven't even happened yet. "pretty normal for me, just another day at the office" Matt jokingly stated.

Pole Electric is the celebration of the music they grew up with performed with 'vigor and expression' that isn't often heard and felt in this modern age across the multiverse.
