Stray dog with Bichon breed being rescued

This is Laly, a 2 yr old female who was limping in a gas station on a freezing winter day. She had ice and snow onto her coat, and I bought her a full meat sandwich. She ate even the bread, sign that she was starving.
That same day I found an amazing Vet, Dr Horia Elefterescu from Bucharest, Romania, who is both a veterinarian as well as a human doctor. His specialty is in orthopedy, and that same day, he performed the surgery on this dog. He also doesn't charge much comparing with other cities or the western countries, let alone in America.
We worked on basic commands, and in two weeks, Laly learned her name, and how to sit when told.
It was love at first sight. It never crossed my mind about giving up on her because I need her more than she needs me.
Plenty of others have been helped but I'm all alone.
