Mama Mouse and Babies Rescued

Info from Licensor: "This was me in the video with my wife, brother, and his wife. We were backpacking/camping in North Carolina. The area is public access. We were gathering firewood and after we started it we put a larger dead log on that had a hollowed core. We had it in there for a while when I noticed eyes deep into the hollowed core. We immediately removed it, doused it the best we could and tried getting the mouse out before cutting into it. We got a rough idea of where they were and started cutting that section out carefully. We got to the section cut out and were able to remove the first mouse. After removing her we noticed 3-4 baby mice that we were still in there. The momma mouse backed herself up against them to protect them and wouldn’t move. All were pulled out and put in the same location the log originally was. We made a covered location for them to ensure they were as safe as possible."
