Why Not Just Take the Shot & Comply with the Mandate?

At a major anti-vaccine protest in New York on Thursday, Uniformed Firefighters Association President Andrew Ansbro says:

"When they came out with the vaccine for polio, did they chase people down that had already had polio and make them take it?

"70% of my members have already been sick. They don't feel this is necessary. My members are young, healthy workforce. But not only do they feel it's not necessary, they feel like they're being bullied, here.

"The Mayor called us heroes months ago. He called us heroes during the whole pandemic. We're 20 months into this thing and now, all of a sudden, when the infection rate is less than one half of 1%, if you don't get the vaccine, you're on leave, you're gonna get fired? That's insanity."
