B Encouraged: Flourishing Amidst Oppression (10-29-2021)

When circumstances are greatly different from our expectations, we can easily yearn for the past. But don't let circumstances dictate disappointment. God's way is always the way of flourishing - God has good and strong growth for you - growth that is unique to this moment in time. And God is growing something capable of feeding a greater breadth of people. God is specifically crafting goodness and righteousness in your life to be expressed to your neighbors and community, that the land and its people be nurtured and restored. We can trust God that we are planted well even when our enemies are exerting power over us. God is able to bring forth new and verdant life especially in the midst of hard times. God is truly defiant that way.

Sorry for my my language blunders. Zedekiah is the ruler in Jerusalem. He is under the king of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar . I have some audio-processing issues and it definitely shows up in this story.
