Timelapse of an Aspergillus mold (with microscopy)

In a prior video, I cultured a moth and discovered a variety of fungi living amongst its body. One of the species I isolated from the moth was this beautiful light orange Aspergillus mold.

I noticed that it produces conidia (spores) in rings and wanted to see if I could use some macro photography to capture it.

After several weeks and just under 800 photos, here is the result.
