Sienci Labs 30x30 LongMill Unboxing

Ordinarily I don't view "unboxing" videos as entirely helpful especially on their own (without assembly), but I am making an exception to that for the Sienci Labs LongMill.

One reason for that is the assembly video - pre-edit - is over 4 hours long. That's just a hair longer than I'd want to post, let alone view. I may make it available as one video later, but for now - nah.

The second reason for posting a "strictly unboxing" video is - the 30x30 LongMill came packages perfectly. And I don't use that word lightly. I don't know who at Sienci Labs did it, but whoever it was deserves a raise - bonus - something. There was not an inch of "open space" outside of boxes - boxes which were the perfect size for what was contained in them. And there was NO - ZERO - bulky packing material (think 'air pillows', 'peanuts' or the dreaded styrofoam. This is the third piece of equipment that I have assembled in the past month and I am still trying to get rid of the packing material from the first two. I understand there are different standards and requirements for materials that can be used - but over and above that there wasn't a single spot in the box that was loose enough for anything to move around.

So to the entire Sienci Labs crew - THANK YOU.

The table on which I'm unboxing, assembling and mounting the CNC is intended to be temporary. We'll see how long that thought lasts.
