Buying real estate in Istanbul Turkey is fraught with risks. There are many English-speaking agencies who try to sell you brand new apartments in developments, and promise you attractive yields. In most cases it is all smokes and mirrors, and the commission structures are massive for agents involved in such transactions. You end up overpaying by a very wide margin.
