Nineteen days after the first outbreak of hostilities between the Royal Navy and the Argentinian Navy, an embattled Prime Minister, Mrs. Margaret Thatcher, informs the House of Commons of a complete collapse in the seventh and final round of peace talks between the Conservative government and the fascist Junta, while openly calling the Junta insincere in its negotiation attempts. The Royal Marines would be given new orders; to retake the islands via a marine and land assault, within hours of this debate.
