The Leader of the Opposition, Mrs. Margaret Thatcher, makes a fiery statement in criticism of James Callaghan's Labour government and its handling of industrial unrest during the winter of 1978-1979.

Mrs. Thatcher also criticises the rising power of trade unions and outlines prospective policy that would prove pivotal to her first two terms in office as Prime Minister.
