Streets were flooded and rivers swollen across the North Bay on Sunday.
A fierce atmospheric river unleashed copious amounts of rain and powerful winds across the North Bay on Sunday, knocking over trees, flooding streets and leading rivers and streams to swell.
Many locations across Marin, Sonoma and Napa counties measured 6 inches to over a foot of rain in 24 hours.
In the last 24 hours, a Mount Tamalpais gauge recorded over 13 inches, Woodacre 11 inches, downtown Napa 7 inches, Santa Rosa nearly 7 inches, Petaluma nearly 5 inches and Venado 10 inches, Meso West reported.

Amid the deluge, several creeks neared flood stage, and video posted at 4 p.m.
on Twitter showed a raging San Anselmo Creek nearly pouring onto the roadway.
Videos also showed flooding on urban streets in several towns including Sonoma and Santa Rosa.
In Santa Rosa's Bennett Valley, residents of 95 homes and a four-unit apartment building were evacuated due to flooding, city officials said.
