A Virtual Tour of the Dwinell Limekiln and supporting works, now located in Mt. Tom State Forest, White Creek, Washington County, New York, USA. It was probably built around 1770 and operated into the 1820's. The lime would have been used for mortar, plaster, and possibly spread on fields to reduce acidity.
