The special event for the Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san (Don't Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro) anime series announced a second season on Saturday. The official website also revealed a visual commemorating the announcement (pictured).

774's (Nanashi) posted a prototype of the titular character Nagatoro on Pixiv in August 2011. The slice of life comedy manga began serializing on the Magazine Pocket application in November 2017. Kodansha published the 11th volume on August 6. Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san has a cumulative 1.8 million copies of its volumes in print. Hirokazu Hanai (Saredo Tsumibito wa Ryuu to Odoru) directed the first season at Telecom Animation Film. Taku Kishimoto (Hanebado!) handled the series composition, and Misaki Suzuki (Tari Tari sub-character design) designed the characters. Kodansha Comics licensed the manga in English in October 2018 for both digital and print release and shipped the eighth volume on September 21. The ninth volume is planned for a November 23 release. Synopsis Every day, Naoto Hachiouji is teased relentlessly by Hayase Nagatoro, a first year student he meets one day in the library while working on his manga. After reading his story and seeing his awkward demeanor, she decides from that moment on to toy with him, even calling him "Senpai" in lieu of using his real name. At first, Nagatoro's relentless antics are more bothersome than anything and leave him feeling embarrassed, as he is forced to cater to her whims. However, as they spend more time together, a strange sort of friendship develops between them, and Naoto finds that life with Nagatoro can even be fun. But one thing's for sure: his days will never be dull again. Official site: http://www.nagatorosan.jp/ Official Twitter: @nagatoro_tv
