Turkish National Attempted to Fly to Italy Illegally - Aktion Airport - Greece

Police, yesterday, October 23rd, arrested a Turkish national at Aktion Airport located in the Region of Western Greece.

The Turkish national tried to leave the country on a flight bound for Italy. The man presented forged travel documents during a passport check, police said.

Greece’s airports have been magnets, since 2015, for migrants and smugglers, who try to move or traffic others all across Europe.
