Despite not having installed the AC, we corrected the installation for glaring problems. When this came in, had I not been sick, I would have let my son save his money and installed it. The directions for the Jeep Air AC are simple to follow. The only thing I would outsource was AC charging.

Two things I recommend for Aftermarket AC installation.

An electric fan that will turn on with the AC. When the AC isn't on the fan only comes on when the engine is at temperature. At idle, our electric fan pulls more CFM than the factory fan, keeping the engine cool. In the winter, it will allow the engine to warm up, keeping you warm and improving Jeep performance.

As a next step, we recommend at least insulating the floor. At the moment, our floor is only sprayed with Boom Matt and it's not enough. As old as our Jeep, the carpet we pulled from it was gone. In the future, we plan to correct this and will create a video to show the update.
