The Prince of Peace can offer peace of mind

What is stealing our peace of mind? Is it stress? Is it bad decisions or broken relationships? Is it disappointment? Is it pain- physical, emotional, spiritual, relational, situational, or financial?

Whatever it is needs to be our priority. Many and most of these things are troubling us by the way the fact that they feel out of our reach or ability to control or manage. But what we are not able to do, God is more than able.

Jesus is called, “The Prince of Peace”. He came to restore peace between God and man. But He also offers peace of mind and peace of heart to us as individuals. He said, “My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” (John 14:27)

We are also told in Philippians 4:7 that the peace of God “surpasses all understanding” and will guard our hearts. So even when there is no rational explanation, God can give us the peace of mind and heart that we lack and seek.
