An Orange Headed Thrush Singing

A target bird of mine for a very long time and then early this year, had several wonderful sightings and saw it in action many times. The bird is quite colorful and easy to sight, though good shots are not easy. They are often found on the ground - wet and soggy areas with small streams or puddles of water - foraging for insects. Other times they are often sighted on trees looking for insects on bark.

We found this one singing and it didn't mind our presence - so was able to shoot this in 7d Mark II using manual focus. The song was quite loud and lovely on the ears! I am quite happy with the outcome!

Thanks in advance for your views and feedback.
