THE BRAINIAC 1962 (aka The Baron of Terror, El Barón Del Terror in Mexico) The notorious Mexican horror film that has become a Cult Classic. In 1661 Mexico, the Baron Vitelius of Astara is sentenced to be burned alive for witchcraft, necromancy, and other crimes. The Baron swears vengeance and returns 400 years later in the form of a horrible, brain-eating monster that terrorizes the Inquisitor's descendants.

This film is in Public Domain and has many low quality copies. This is the highest quality copy available. It is the English version but it is complete with the original Spanish movie credits. It has been noted critically for its fine B&W cinematography, use of gothic set design and a most bizarre plot device. Gave kids nightmares when shown on US TV in the 1960s.
