On October 20, 2021, the so-called task force 59.9 (maritime unmanned systems) of the 5th 🇺🇸⚓ U.S. Navy conducted the first patrol of the waters of the Persian Gulf using the autonomous surface reconnaissance complex MANTAS T12 developed by Maritime Tactical Systems (MARTAC) in a mine action configuration.
