As sons and daughters of God, we have His very own life and presence in us:

“For you are the sons of God now; the live, permanent Word of the living God has given you his own indestructible heredity” (1 Peter 1:23 Phillips).

The indwelling presence of the crucified Savior makes us brave. His perfect love drives out fear, and His grace helps us to believe that we are more than conquerors. His fullness of joy gives us all the strength that we need to defy the threats of the enemy, and we rejoice knowing that nothing can ever snatch us from the Father’s hand.
