Hungry Dog throws empty bowl at human. I am hungry!!!

Pako was hungry and started throwing the empty bowl at human asking for more food. Trust me, I did not teach him this behavior. I guess he learned over time; I gave him some snacks when he threw the bowl at me.
How does your dog ask for more food to you? How do your dog express hunger? I would love to hear about them.
