"Faith, Hope and Charity..the Theological Virtues infused at Baptism, they are embraced in this First Commandment. The First Commandment enjoins us to love God above everything and all creatures for the sake of God and because of God. One can Sin against God's love in various ways. Indifference is the first one The Catechism lists. Indifference neglects or refuses to reflect on divine charity, it fails to consider its prevenient goodness and denies its power. We can Sin against Charity through ingratitude, which fails or refuses to acknowledge divine Charity and to return Him love for love, remember love is repaid by love alone. Luke warmness is hesitation or negligence in responding to divine love. It can imply refusal to give oneself over to the promptings of Charity..DON'T BE LUKEWARM! What did the Lord say about those who are lukewarm? 'I will that you are hot or cold, but because you are lukewarm I will spew you out of my mouth'(I will reject you)..Don't be lukewarm..You know that scares me."
