In this video we demonstrate how to uppercut in a street fight.

Now obviously, this tutorial is for self defense purposes only.

So, if you’re faced with a larger and taller attacker, you usually don’t want to get in a fighting stance and show your intentions of fighting back. That is unless the fight as already started.

To throw a good uppercut, you need to lunch the strike right underneath the jaw of your opponent when he doesn’t expect it. It can be done from a passive stance!
