Fallen Tree. Something Common During AZ Monsoon.

Not a new video. Something about Arizona, the desert is dry 😂 yes, I'm a genius!
But it does rain and storm in AZ, it's not the Sahara!
During the summer, we get the monsoon rains. Called just like the massive rains that cause the majestic Ganges to raise. I do believe that we should have given our much more mild monsoon another name, for it must be peanuts compared to the actual monsoon in India but I wasn't in charge of naming it.
Regardless, our monsoon season comes every year, sometimes with very little rain which is awful for the many AZ crops. This year, the monsoon was historical with more water than we have had in years, the biggest one I've experienced in AZ!
One thing about the desert is it's dry, so our trees can have very shallow roots which is not good when they're hit with massive rain and wind. Many fall! Another thing is, we're not prepared for rain often in the desert cities, the drainage is blah so we get plenty of floods, sometimes you can't drive down a certain road. But I do love this season, especially because otherwise, the temp would be over 110 degrees, a bit hot. The monsoon can make it cool for days, usually it stops and starts again.

Other than the monsoon, we get rain coming from Mexico and elsewhere. And it does get cold in the winter. And like I tell people always, there's much, much more than desert in AZ!
I'm a tree hugger and I hung out with this fallen tree when I found it.
