Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan pays for son’s jail canteen expenses.
Actor Shah Rukh Khan had sent money for his son’s expenses at the jail canteen, reported a news agency in India.
In the report, the superintendent confirmed receiving money order of Rs4,500 (RM250) from Aryan’s family on Oct 11 – which is the maximum amount a prisoner can receive for their expenses inside a prison.
Aryan Khan is currently placed at the Arthur Road jail in Mumbai, India, in connection with an alleged seizure of banned drugs during a cruise ship drug raid case earlier this month.

The 23-year-old was arrested along with five others during the raid at a party on a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast on Oct 2, and was later transferred to the Mumbai jail.
On Oct 8, Aryan and two others sought bail from the court.
However, India’s Narcotics Control Bureau’s lawyer is opposing Aryan’s bail plea as the latter is said to be a regular consumer of drugs for the last few years.
